The National Academy Foundation focuses on promoting financial and business literacy by establishing schools-within-schools (“Academies”) in high schools nationwide. They asked us to reshape their messages and overhaul their marketing literature system to align with their new strategic focus.

The new simplified, modular system explains NAF’s value proposition to two key audiences: Businesses and schools. Based on a flagship brochure plus individual Academy pieces, the system fosters effective communications using the minimum number of discrete components. We also created a new logotype, “the Heroic A,” to represent the heart of the organization’s work. The system was documented in a set of identity standards for the many NAF programs that needed to create their own materials.
